James Rodney Hill came
into the world in 1934 at the historical city of St. Joseph, Missouri. His
parents named him after his uncle James C. Hill who later founded and operated
the world famous auto products company STP.
During the 1950's and 60's
he was outstanding on the basketball court and set several records that still
remain to be broken. For many years he produced and broadcast his own radio
show. His political activity landed him frequently in front of a TV camera
or a radio or newspaper interview.
He and his wife developed
and operated a thriving private Christian School while at the same time
raising their own two children. He also was called on to be the editor of a
nationally distributed newspaper, "The Alert", a position he maintained for
over a decade.
A victim of multiple
sclerosis since the early 1970's, he remained a staunch believer in
Christianity and God until many religious and secular experiences forced him
to reassess his long held beliefs.
